Ready for a silent retreat but not sure how to start?
Stuck at home with a mind that won’t be quiet?
Desiring to deepen into your meditation practice during this global retreat and not sure how to begin?
Just for you, take a nibble of silence with the One-Day Silent Retreat at home.
Join this one-day Silent Retreat from your home and give yourself a unique and profound opportunity to quiet the mind, rejuvenate the body and open the heart.
During this global pause, take a day to be with yourself within the gift of spiritual community, to really slow down and to awaken into the silence that is calling all of us to listen right now. Instead of using this time for distraction, distancing and isolation, let’s take some time to connect – to self, to others through the profound presence of silence, and to Source.
Come learn and practice silent meditation on the heart, calm and interiorized and meditative yoga and techniques for daily life awareness which can lead to more moments of stillness, surrender, and joy in everyday life. This is the path of the Spiritual Heart.
We will explore The Spiritual Heart and it’s physical, emotional and spiritual implications, which can eventually lead us into the essence of our Being, our True Self. By cultivating an opening to this depth of our very Self and learning how to settle ourselves in this powerful center, we can drastically change our relationship to ourselves and to the world, giving us more space to be present, rooted, trusting and connected.
We’ll all sync up on Zoom, set the container for our day of silence, and then drop into quiet together. Grace will lead the day of teachings and practices while you are invited to transform your own home into a personal retreat center. You can lean into the power of sangha, community, while you listen and practice teachings to awaken to the Heart.
Using techniques from various esoteric traditions, we′ll learn how to create the best conditions for a life of presence, including cultivating awareness, mental concentration, opening the Heart and applying these techniques in daily life. The meditative yoga practice engages not only the physical body, but the entire being. Postures and breathing practices are performed with awareness, turning physical practice into blissful meditation.
No previous meditation or yoga experience is necessary as this retreat is designed for beginner and advanced meditators alike. For those wanting to re-ignite their practice, this is also a beautiful opportunity to tune in and find renewed presence. All bodies and abilities are welcome. The day’s atmosphere will be one of love and spiritual growth.
Come for a day of silence and take peek into the deeper dimension of your being. If you’ve yet to experience the intimacy of silence, you will never forget the gateway it can be to Love, presence and surrender. What you’ll need to do to prepare:
– Have a quiet space away from notifications or other people interrupting your silent container
– Be prepared for yoga/movement practice and sitting – layered, comfortable clothes and options for seated practices
– Have a healthy lunch ready in your home
– Have a notebook and journal nearby
Send any questions to Grace – [email protected]

About the Host:
Grace Bryant
Grace (they/them, she/her) has been a whole-life educator since 2005, integrating drama, music, movement, meditation and yoga, mindful living, creative play, authentic relating, conscious collaboration, tantra and leadership. Grace is beyond grateful to have received the teachings of Nondual Tantra and the Spiritual Heart. They believe these teachings can transform the consciousness of anyone who practices them sincerely.
Currently, Grace is merging anti-oppression work with the vision of Advaita Tantra and the Spiritual Heart. They are committed to shifting the global culture of Tantra and Yoga teachings and helping end white supremacy culture and colonialist appropriation of these beautiful traditions. Grace draws inspiration from the original Tantra concept of kula (spiritual family) which was open to everyone and where castes, and genders could practice side-by-side. They deeply believe that Tantra is for all bodies, ethnicities, backgrounds, orientations, genders and humans which is reflected in the mission of Sacred Embodiment Community Seattle.

Zoom now requires a password on all meetings to help keep our events safe. For this week, we’ll be using our room password, 193027. Please watch for more updated security features next week. Thank you for your continued adaptability.
– SECURITY & EVENT ARRIVAL: We’re working on the balance between making our events convenient to access and also as secure and safe as possible. As such, we are asking participants to arrive on time, and no later than 15 minutes after their start time. Unless previously arranged with the facilitator, we will not let people in after that time.
Please know we are working on ways to have more safeguards in place for our facilitators and participants which might mean changing how you access online events in the weeks to come. We encourage you to stay up to date with our communications (via email, meetup and FB) so you are familiar with how to access your events before they begin. Join our mailing list (www.sacred-embodiment.org) for the latest updates

Some events are free and some have fixed registration costs. Please contact us at i[email protected] if you have questions about donations.
