Planting Seeds: Create the Relationship(s) You Want

March 26, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

$90 – $185
stick figure planting heart seeds

We all crave more fulfilling relationships.

Relationships that celebrate our individuality and our shared vision as a couple. Where the challenges of being intimate and vulnerable with a partner are met with gratitude and a willingness to grow together.

Embark on a full day’s journey to cultivate relationships with more integrity, honesty, kindness and communication.

Information & Registration at: www.plantingseeds.brownpapertickets.com

It might come as a surprise that we have more freedom to create and design our partnerships than we think. When we shift our attention from the “challenges and problems” to the process of growth, we have the ability to turn any connection into a more intentional, conscious relationship.

Anyone ready to design and manifest a conscious relationship is welcome, whether you’re new to this work or already on the path. While the focus of this journey is on romantic connections, the tools and strategies offered can have a powerful influence on all of your relationships, from family to business to friendships.

This intensive full-day workshop will evolve in three parts. Each employs playful exercises, deep dives of self-inquiry, interpersonal communication tools and practical action items.

Part 1. The Inner Exploration
> Deconstructing cultural norms, societal roles and taboos to uncover your unique values
> Opening beyond mental limitations
> Uncovering your unique vision of a conscious, loving relationship

Part 2. The Laboratory
> Creatively expressing your desires and needs
> Exploring what’s alive now and what’s holding you back through somatic techniques
> Developing and expressing more kindness, compassion and love

Part 3. The Culmination
> Committing to our intentions and co-creating personalized “take-home” strategies
> Creating a language and framework for holding ourselves & partners accountable
> Revitalizing and deepening your connection with an attitude of gratitude

Through the day’s exploration and play, we will address layers of self-doubt, shame and fears that prevent us from receiving unconditional love in our relationships. You will be invited to shift the paradigm of your own capacity for love, from a supposed limited resource to an unlimited flow in every area of life.

While we can’t address the entire scope of conscious relationships in one day, we can start with the fundamentals, the seeds. Planting these intentions will lead to deeper authenticity, kindness towards yourself and your partner(s), and the ability to recognize a shared vision while celebrating your individuality and uniqueness.

Open to individuals and couples of all genders, sexual orientation and relationship structures. We will specifically address how these strategies can apply to traditional and non-traditional relationship structures.

Come with an open heart and a curious mind and be ready to play, dive deep and find your edges as you create your own experience in this collaborative experiment.

Feedback from related workshops:

“This was so intimate and special…I felt heard, supported, empowered, held.” – Grace, Portland

“Grace creates an accessible, welcoming and safe environment that is both heart-warming and inspiring. Her energy and passion for what she does is infectious, so much so that a room full of strangers at the beginning of a weekend can feel like family by the end. You will be energized, challenged, comforted and much, much more. I cannot recommend her work enough.” – Ben, English Teacher and Artist, South Korea

“It was perfectly balanced. Between verbal transmission, exercises and energetic awareness, I found the entire workshop to be very effective and potent.” – Malakai, Portland

Grace and Randy are in a continuing experiment to bring more and more unconditional love into their relationship, their relationships with others and their global community. They are inspired to present this offering as a co-creation with all participants and to learn through the connection and discovery of the group. They choose to devote their lives to planting these seeds and want to invite you to join in the fun!

For the past 10 years, Grace has helped to create communities steeped in truthful connection and conscious living wherever she happened to be on the globe in the areas of drama, music, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, trust and community building, educator training, outdoor education and play. Her favorite offerings focus on personal empowerment, finding our authentic voices and living with intentional and fearless connection, especially to women and in conscious sexuality and relationships. She has led many discussion groups, workshops, retreats, women’s groups, and classes to help people of all ages open, connect and revitalize every area of life. Grace has found a deep sense of peace and trust in the 12 years on her journey to living in consciousness and hopes to share this in her teachings. She works with groups and individuals in the Seattle area and abroad. More on Grace’s offerings at www.bewholebehappy.com.

After deconstructing his life, emerging from a 9-year traditional marriage and a 15-year high pressure career centered around building rapport with corporate clients, Randy has immersed himself in transformation to live more consciously each day. The drive that he used to dedicate to putting together deals for multi-million dollar risks, he now devotes to human performance theory, personal resilience, and emotional physiology. The level of passion he exudes for building authentic community is a product of his years of international competitive soccer. Through workshops and other transformative experiences, Randy balances intensity with a playful blend of enthusiasm, fun, and creative insights.

I’ve sometimes joked and said God doesn’t know very much math, because when you give to others, it should be that you are subtracting from yourself. But in this incredible kind of way—I’ve certainly found that to be the case so many times—you gave and it then seems like in fact you are making space for more to be given to you.
